Steve Koester Recognized by NEREJ’s Rising Star Spotlight
Steve Koester has been at leading Boston-based construction management firm Corderman & Company since 2021as an Assistant Project Manager. In this role, he has worked on a number of projects in the Boston area and has become a valued member of the Corderman team. Steve was recently featured in the May 26th 2023 Issue of New England Real Estate Journal as a 2023 Ones to Watch Rising Star.
The 2023 Ones to Watch Spotlight showcases individuals who are making notable contributions to their company and industry. This recognition reflects Steve’s hard work, ambition, and his involvement in the Boston chapter of the ACE Mentorship Program last fall.

What is one thing on my bucket list? Ski the Alps
When I am not working, I am… Golfing, Skiing, Hiking
What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? Over the last year, I had the opportunity to participate in the ACE Mentor Program in the Boston Chapter. This year’s project involved developing an emergency response site in the Boston Common. As a mentor, I helped conduct weekly design classes with 35 high school students from the Boston area, and we covered topics in architecture, construction, and engineering. It was inspiring to see the next generation of students motivated to learn about construction management and improve their problem solving skills. I look forward to participating next year with another great group!
