Volunteering at Tynan Elementary

A group from Corderman & Company volunteered at Joseph P. Tynan Elementary’s spring open house, a special event for students and their families to explore the school and meet faculty. We were honored to donate 4 brand-new bikes which were given away to randomly selected students.

A couple weeks, later the Corderman team was back at the school for their annual “Fun Day.” The team helped out with obstacle courses, yard games, Simon Says, relay races, and all kinds of other fun activities. There was even Italian Ice, it was the perfect way to kick off summer!

A huge thank you to Marissa Maurice, the Accounting Specialist here at Corderman & Company, for coordinating this effort and spearheading our ongoing partnership with Tynan.

We are looking forward to continuing our efforts next school year with exciting donations and volunteer events. In the meantime, we wish the students, staff, and families a wonderful summer break!
