We are excited to announce that Jana Licata, Project Manager at Corderman & Company has been recognized as one of New England Real Estate Journal’s 2024 Ones to Watch - Rising Stars. As part of the nomination, Jana offered insight into her role at Corderman, her achievements over the years, and how she balances her career and personal life:

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of?

“Being promoted to project manager. I’ve been delaying this promotion for a couple of years now, as my two boys were too small, and I felt like it wasn’t the right time for me. With the encouragement of my peers at Corderman, I finally took the leap in the beginning of this year.”

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life?

“Juggling work-life balance is challenging. Having a career is important to me, but as a mother I feel guilty for not being with my boys 24/7. Fortunately, Corderman has been accommodating with my schedule and I’m able to always be there for my boys. My peers know that I will always do everything to get my work done. Having that relationship with your peers is fundamental to a balanced work and personal life.”
