Corderman Coffee Breaks & Site Tours

A group of Corderman & Company employees stand on an active job site. They are all wearing white hard hats and black jackets or vests. There is a row of glass office fronts on the right and an open space with construction materials on the left.

Initially introduced during Construction Inclusion Week last year to promote inclusivity and team engagement, Corderman & Company’s continuation of coffee breaks has evolved to now also include a site tour. Each month, a Corderman Superintendent will host a coffee break at a local café near their job site. Once attendees have enjoyed a cup of Joe or a sweet pastry treat, the project team leads the crew up to the site. The team shares their experiences with traversing project specific challenges, offers insight into the job, and answers questions from the group. These simple coffee breaks have become a unique and largely beneficial way to keep different project teams engaged and knowledgeable about all Corderman projects, not solely their own.

This past week, Corderman & Company Superintendent, Joel Ashton, and Senior Project Manager, Laura Fraioli-Larkin, led a group of Corderman employees on a tour of their site at One Financial Center.
