Corderman & Company will be spotlighting a different team member each month, offering insight into the unique personalities that comprise our team. This month Corderman is highlighting one of the company’s Assistant Project Managers: Serena Kauffman.

Q&A with Serena Kauffman

What is your role at Corderman & Company and how long have you been here? 

I’m an Assistant Project Manager and have been at Corderman for about 1.5 years. 

 When did you first know that you wanted to pursue a career in this field and what was your path to working at Corderman? 

I knew in high school that I wanted to pursue a career in Architecture then learned in college that I was more interested in Construction. I then started working at Corderman following graduation. 

 What do you enjoy most about working here? 

I enjoy that every day is a little different and being able to see the results of all our hard work in the end is very rewarding. I also get to work with a great team of people and, of course, I enjoy being in Boston!

 What are your hobbies? 

Baking, ATV riding/camping, traveling, and occasionally drag racing.

 Do you have a secret talent? 

I play the piano – have been for 15+ years.

 What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn? 

I’ve always wanted to be fluent in Spanish.
