Corderman & Company Recognizes Deafblind Awareness Week

Deafblind Awareness Week took place the week of June 26th with the goal of promoting awareness of the challenges faced by the deafblind community, as well as recognizing and celebrating the achievements of those who are deafblind. In honor of Deafblind Awareness Week, Corderman & Company wanted to highlight their partnership with non-profit, the Usher Syndrome Society, whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for Usher syndrome, the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness. The founder of Corderman & Company, David M. Corderman, Jr., has two children living with this rare disease.

Two Corderman and Company shirts laying on a table. One is face up with the Corderman logo across the chest. The other is face down showing the usher syndrome society logo which is on the back of the shirt.

Corderman’s efforts to support the USH Society include attending and volunteering at USH Society events, sharing information about USH Society on client gifts, and contributing financially to accelerate research and help find a cure. Corderman & Company also visually displays their partnership through the branding of company vehicles and apparel. This branding incorporates both the Corderman and Usher Syndrome Society logo, which is made up of the letters “U” and “S” in Braille.

The USH Society is an integral part of Corderman & Company. The deeply personal relationship between these two organizations represents the fundamental role that family, community, and giving back have within Corderman & Company. Learn more about this partnership here.
