Lobby-ing for USH

The Lobby-ing for USH campaign has officially begun, with One Financial Center as the first stop for the Shine a Light portrait exhibit.

Three USH portraits are visible throughout a large open seating space in the second floor Amenity Center at One Financial Center. There is a long couch with pillows and chairs and a table in the background.
A long hallway with a black and white stripe patterned run contains a couple of USH portraits. The face of a young man is on the closest portrait and white text can be seen at the top of the photo. The portrait is from the USH Shine a Light exhibit.
Two Corderman employees stand in the One Financial Lobby behind a table. There are cookies and brochures lining the top of the table. One of the portraits with a small child on it is to the left of the image.

The display features portraits of individuals and families around the world living with USH, helping to raise awareness for Usher syndrome, the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness. This exhibit was crafted by Corderman & Company’s non-profit partner, the Usher Syndrome Society. David Corderman has two children with Usher syndrome and the firm is deeply involved in the non-profit and in efforts to raise awareness for the rare disease.

Fun Fact: The Corderman team built both One Financial’s Lobby (2018) and Amenity Center (2022)! It felt surreal to be back in these two floors and truly come full circle on these Corderman-built spaces.

A huge thank you to JLL and Loft on Two for your support during this entire process and for hosting us in your space!
