PROJECT OVERVIEW
AIS is shaking up the office furniture industry by manufacturing high-end systems and seating utilizing award-winning processes and product designs at an attractive price point. Bringing charisma to the office furniture market, AIS required a showroom that would carry this marketable energy throughout the space frequented by visitors and potential clients. The transformative project, incorporating both raw and sustainable materials, consisted of new millwork feature walls, revised conference rooms, and a first-in-the-market flooring system.
Unique Project Features:
The design of the showroom centered on a ‘loft’ concept inspired by the industrial feel of the building and neighborhood.
A custom front desk welcomes visitors in the reception area that features a rustic millwork wall.
Environmental sustainability was an important element in the design concept and construction process with many of the materials being reclaimed or recycled, such as an old structural beam from a Maine barn that was converted into a unique statement lighting pendant.
